within a Frederick Law Olmsted designed suburban “development”,
this late ‘50s modernist house (originally featured in Architectural
Digest), had lost its relationship to the surrounding landscape. New neighbors
encroached from each side. Master planning and design of the property
included revised driveways, gardens surrounding the house which extend
modern elements into the environment and create subtle transitions to
the native elements of the surrounding landscape. |
